NU-BEAU

A comprehensive WordPress redesign for an established aesthetics clinic, making its treatments, condition-led advice, products and pricing easier to explore and manage.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my new website, it’s something I’m genuinely proud of. Clients have given nothing but positive feedback, completely unprompted, saying how easy it is to navigate and how beautiful it looks. I’m a very visual communicator, and Mike really helped pull my ideas out and turn them into reality. He understood my vision perfectly and added key elements I hadn’t even thought about, bringing a great deal of knowledge and creativity to the project. Communication was smooth throughout, and he also shared ideas to future-proof the site. It’s so refreshing to have an ongoing relationship where updates and new pages can be added as the business grows, without huge costs, just a reasonably priced membership that actually makes sense. Highly recommend!

The client and what they needed

Nu Beau is an established aesthetics and wellbeing clinic offering an extensive range of advanced treatments, skincare products and professional advice.

Over time, the existing website had accumulated a large amount of useful information, but its structure no longer reflected how clients actually search for help. Visitors needed a clearer way to explore treatments, understand which options might suit their concerns and find practical information such as pricing.

Working alongside Kat Bailey of The Motherlode, the project involved reorganising this substantial content and creating a more polished, accessible website that properly represented the clinic and its expertise.

The challenge

Nu Beau offers a broad and sometimes complex range of services. Treatments can address several different concerns, while individual conditions may have multiple suitable treatment options. The website therefore needed to accommodate overlapping information without becoming confusing or repetitive.

The project grew considerably as the content was reviewed. In addition to the main pages, the finished website required structured treatment and condition sections, team information, products, price lists, FAQs and supporting advice.

All of this needed to remain straightforward for visitors while giving the Nu Beau team a practical way to update prices, products and other important information within WordPress.

The solution

I created a bespoke WordPress website with a clearer structure built around the two main ways people approach aesthetic treatments: by exploring a specific treatment or by starting with the condition or concern they would like help with.

Kat Bailey of The Motherlode worked collaboratively on the website copy, helping transform a considerable amount of specialist information into content that feels clear, reassuring and approachable.

Treatments and conditions were organised as structured, interconnected content. This allows visitors to move naturally between a concern and the treatments that may be relevant, while making the website easier to expand as Nu Beau’s services develop.

The build also incorporated an organised product catalogue and centralised pricing system. Frequently changing information can be managed through dedicated areas in WordPress, helping the team keep the site current without having to edit individual page layouts.

The completed design was carefully refined across desktop, tablet and mobile, balancing Nu Beau’s visual preferences with clear navigation, readable content and practical usability.

The outcome

Nu Beau now has a much more comprehensive and professionally structured website that reflects both the scale of its services and the expertise behind them.

Visitors can explore the site according to what they already know. Whether that is the name of a treatment, a particular skin or body concern, or simply the type of result they are hoping to achieve. Clear links between related content make it easier to research the available options and take the next step towards an enquiry or consultation.

Behind the scenes, structured management systems make the large website considerably easier to maintain. Treatments, conditions, products and prices can continue to evolve without compromising the consistency of the design.
