Working from Bill’s existing identity and creative direction, I developed a bespoke WordPress website built around Brandad’s restrained black, white and grey visual language.
Oversized typography, generous spacing and alternating light and dark sections create a strong rhythm throughout the site. The dictionary-definition concept remains central to the identity, while the page structure clearly introduces Bill, his expertise, his collaborators and selected client work.
Copywriter Kat Bailey of The Motherlode worked with Bill on the website copy, developing a concise narrative that captured both his experience and the distinctive Brandad tone of voice.
I also created a structured system for managing client reviews, allowing Bill to add new testimonials through WordPress without editing the page layouts themselves. Once completed, the site was carefully refined across desktop, tablet and mobile to preserve the intended design at every size.
